Two years ago I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. A few weeks after receiving my diagnosis, my husband and I went to see the Nationals play at RFK Stadium on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Everyone around us was soaking up the sun and enjoying pretzels and ice cold beer. We scoured the stadium, and there was next to nothing that I could eat safely, which just about killed me. After that, I planned ahead and either ate beforehand or brought snacks with me. Well, yesterday we enjoyed yet another beautiful Saturday afternoon baseball game -- this time at the new Nationals Park. We'd heard rumors that the curly W pretzels in left field could be ordered gluten free so we headed straight there. You can imagine my surprise and pure delight when after ordering a gluten free pretzel, the cashier asked if I'd like a gluten free beer to go along with it! I was in heaven! I just wanted to thank you for helping to make the Nats games a little bit more like they used to be before my diagnosis. You can certainly count on the fact that I'll be at Noah's Pretzels each time we head out to the park! Thanks again.
