Conclusion of the 2008 Washington Nationals Inaugural Season
While we are sad to see conclusion of the 2008 Nationals Inaugural Season. We would first like to thank all of those at The Washington Nationals Organization for there offer and support for Noah’s and our cause. To be present at the new stadium was a dream come true! We would also like to thank ALL the fans that came out and showed support for Noah’s! Our time was enjoyed by all and we can’t wait until we are set to arrive back next year! Noah’s would like to extend special thanks to all of you that contributed to our cause of Autism Awareness and hope to gain the same support from the community when we move on to other arenas. To keep you posted on Noah’s events that are up and coming we are currently looking to donate to a local DC charity that supports those currently living with Autism. We are also launching a school fundraising project in Montgomery County that should take off and support not only those with Autism but the schools throughout Montgomery County as well while providing them education on Autism. Thank you again for making our Inaugural season one we will never forget. Please don’t forget to come by and visit our shop in Lakeforest Mall. Just because the season has ended does not mean the support should stop either! We look forward to next year’s season with the Nationals and your continued support!

Celiac Awareness Night
Noah’s Pretzels was on hand to provide gluten – free Curly W’s on Saturday August 16th for the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness’s night at the stadium. It was a pleasure to meet Vanessa Maltin and Lauren Pike from the foundation. The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness does a lot of work to make people aware of the dangers of untreated Celiac disease. They state that 97% of people with Celiac disease are unaware of it. Please visit their website at http://www.celiaccentral.org/ to learn more about the disease. Vanessa is the author of the book Beyond Rice Cakes which is her personal account of what it’s like to live with Celiac Disease. Check her out on her blog @ http://www.beyondricecakes.com/ We at Noah’s are delighted to have the opportunity to show our support for all the work that these ladies do and we hope to continue to contribute to their cause in the future.

Update!
We’re back…it’s been awhile since we last updated you on our progress. We have been focusing on getting the word around about autism awareness. In the last month we have worked with CSS – Community Support Services, Inc to employ people with autism at the stadium. We had a great time working with those from CSS and hope that we can have a chance to have them come back and work again. The next Nationals game is Tuesday July 29th so stop by get your fresh hot pretzel in Section 106 or Section 318 . Oh and if you can’t wait that long to get your hands on a Noah’s Pretzel then you can always stop by our store location in the Lakeforest Mall . Thanks for your support and we hope that our business continues to grow and that we have many opportunities to work with people in the community in our efforts to raise Autism Awareness.

New news! Read about us!!
Hey everyone, all of us at Noah’s can’t wait to return to the stadium on Friday the 20th against the Texas Rangers but we are even more excited about our articles in the press lately. We were just named the “what to order” at the Nationals Stadium in the New York Times on June 8, 2008 and now this past Sunday we had a write up in the Washington Times… here’s the link:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/200 ... education/

This write up wasn’t focusing much on our fresh yummy pretzels but more about what Noah’s is trying to accomplish, increasing autism awareness. We offer field trips to our store where children get a chance to look at our “Faces of Autism” wall, they can read the post “Ten Things Every Child with Autism Wishes You Knew” and they can ask questions about what its like to live with someone with autism. Oh and they get to make pretzels too! Dwayne and Jonathan are also looking forward to offering a program for teens with autism to work at the shop and to spreading Noah’s Pretzel’s across the world. So check us out and will see you at the stadium on Friday!

Our New Stand in section 318!
Just a little update about Noah's Pretzels. The new location at the National's baseball stadium is going very well. We have learned alot about being a stadium vendor. Our relationships within the stadium are going well and just this week we began working out of a second location in the stadium. So Noah's now has two physical locations one on the main level section 106 and one on the third level section 318. Tuesday 6/10/08 Noah's will be donating funds raised from Our Day of Giving Event to MPAC at their graduation ceremony at their Gaithersburg location at 7pm. Please come out and join us for this event. We will also be in the Washington Times on Father's Day, so look out for the article. The following link is an article that appeared in the New York Times refering to the different ball parks and their concessions.

Again Noah's would like to thank you for your support and keep us in your thoughts.

Thanks;
Noah's
